I’m teaching WB307 Developing Applications in IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules BRMS V7.1

At long last, my dream came true and I managed to find a project where I could verify my current skills around IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules BRMS V7.1 – I’m teaching a 5-day course WB307 Developing Applications in IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules BRMS V7.1.

It’s not a project per se, but every teacher knows that teaching is a real project that I personally think is even more troublesome since you have to deal with live entities – people and you’re in charge of their view on a product. “With great power comes great responsibility”

The course finally marks the day when I can share my knowledge about the product and hear what others express about the idea of using business rules in enterprise applications. The course will be held in Katowice, Poland in the upcoming week – 30.05-3.06.2011 – and is for a customer I may not share a name of.

Chances are that I’ll find a few spare cycles for Agile Business Rule Development: Process, Architecture, and JRules Examples. There’re some other books I should be reading about BRMS, but the rule “one book a week” is an excellent reading velocity.
